I have set many goals, I will try to cover them all without forgetting them in this post. First, is to eat healthier, because I have good metabolism, but that doesn't mean I will survive a heart attack, or a blood clot from all of my crappy eating. My other goal is to be less sensitive. Life is a bitch, and I take things to seriously, and I would like to change that. think i will do that by just acting like I am making the decisions for someone else, like if i think that i might have anxiety over a certain event or a job, or a time wen i need to be social, I will just do it, throw myself out there, don't think. All thinking has been done. I have done nothing but think sub-consciously for a very long tie about most of these things. If I wanted a job @ best buy for example, but was anxious, I would just go apply, don't think. That is my second goal. My third goal is to be an overall better person, I was watching a movie with my brother about a half an hour ago, and when it was over, he cam up to the computer and farted while looking at what I was doing, so i elbowed him and apparently i hit him in the nuts. I was considering hitting him, or not hitting hi for a split second, and while i was leaning more towards don't do it he is your little brother, next thing i knew was I just hit him. I felt like crap. I just apologized, he is still a little mad. He mooned me, I guess I kind of deserve that. I have always agreed that violence is never the answer, and personally arguing is not my style either. I prefer peaceful relations, which is why I ignore allot of what he does. But I didn't today, and I would like to work on that. I believe that goes under self control. The other overall improvement of me thing i wanted to work on was trust. My mother rented Little Miss Sunshine, and it is rated R and she said nobody but her can watch it, but I put it into my computer and started watching it and she was all like i said no and you did it anyway. So I feel bad. She was not mad, I kinda sweet talked my way out of it, but I still do not get to see it. Other than that life is pretty good as is. I am going to experiment with putting pictures in my blog posts today. So I will mention that the official release date of the iPhone is June 11. And here is a picture of the iPhone. Wow, that is certainly cool. What did I do today? Well, I woke up early and went to Volo Illinois and went to the Volo Auto Museum. I saw many classic muscle cars and a bunch of military technology and cars. I also had pizza and a chocolate malt in a 50s style diner. Kyle (little brother) and my father went. We were there for about 2 and a half hours. That was fun. Then I came home. I ordered that cable for my iPod I have been wanting for a very long time. It allows me to watch all of the movies and everything on my iPod on my tv. Like the Apple TV, but cheaper, and I am waiting to buy something else Apple, I don't want t splurge on something cool, when something i seriously need is a new MacBook or if my life were a dream, the 17' macbook pro. But I would love to just have the bottom of the line MacBook Pro, it is 15' and faster than most PCs in the same market, lighter too. So that's my life. Nice talking to you. Enjoy the links and pictures I included in this post, it is the first time I have done so.

Hmmm. . . Today was not all that great. I woke up because my mother walked into my room. She told me that my father was going to home depot, and I could go if I wanted to. I like to get out of the house, and it usually means I get some food or something. So I got up and my mother is like "Ryan, I need you to do a project for me." and I was like, oh, on the computer, I am good at that. And got a little excited, because browsing the web looking for something to blog about is not exactly "fun". But it turned out she wanted me to stain some shelves that she bought an is planning on putting in the office. I looked @ them and laughed, thinking she was kidding. Then she was like I will pay you and buy you lunch. So I thought, OK, ma by we could work something out. After some haggling and an agreement that she would not be mad if I fuck up the job, I got to staining. Well, this was after I got back from Home Depot. So when we got home, my dad put his Camry into the garage, just so that I could pull it out (that was part of the deal) and then I pulled the sedona out too. I always go too far back so that I can gas it real hard to get back up the driveway. Then I went into the basement and got a fan, set it up, and started slopping stain all over all of these drawers. That lasted for about and hour and a half. Then I got bored and started doing a little demolition derby with my sisters bike because apparently while I was sleeping this morning, my mom drove her to deerfield to spend the day with her cousin. So that was that, and I just did that all day, then pulled the car back in. Then I went to steak and shake (which was another part of the deal) and I got a burger, fries, and 2 large chocolate and banana side by side shakes. And finished one on the way home. And tomorrow, I will do the last coat and get $20. So it is all cool, I just had a great idea, I think my old laptops memory might be compatible with my gateways. So I am going to go check, and if it is, I will install it and see if my computer is any faster. ttyl

Hello, another posting after seven days of nothing. Not a whole lot to catch you up on. I will just cover the key points I guess. I talked to miss d. She called me a hacker for using the neighbor's wireless Internet. Which I do not consider private if they do not secure it. It is just like public wi-fi if they do not secure it. But I got a wireless g router at circuit city Friday night. And I DID secure it. I brought it home and began the setup process which lasted about an hour and a half. Because the main computer I was setting it up for was My MacBook. And airport recognized the wireless connection, but when I entered the long series of letters and numbers I was given as a password, it would not let me in, so I called Linksys and was on hold with some lady that spoke in monotone, (maybe she was Asian) and she finally let me in on the little secret that they do not put in the instructions for whatever reason. You need to put the dollar sign before your password when you are using a mac. But after that, My wireless Internet is working wonderfully. The same as the Ethernet before it did. I do not have it on my gateway yet. I am not sure if I have it. I opened up the slot were the wireless chip should have been, and it was there, but I can not seem to get a connection. And If I could, I probably would not be able to very far. The gateway is like 4 years old, so It would have 802.11b built in if anything, and the range for that is like 20 feet. So I am going to get the PC card adapter anyway for Easter. Then I will be able to brows myspace and gadget blogs and look at the blue screen of death other places in my house. I need a MacBook Pro really bad, but I think I am stuck with this gateway for a little while. At most, I will get a new vista laptop :( because they are more in my price range. As much as I put Windows and Microsoft down, they will always hold a special place in my heart. My first computer ever was a Toshiba Satellite laptop running Windows 95. My next computer was an old, old Packer Bell running Windows 3.1. I still admire and think about that one every day. My next computer, which is the worst one and the best one I have ever had, was a Fujitsu LifeBook. That originally had Windows 98, but I upgraded to Windows 2000 Professional. I designed websites, edited photos, I pretty much became a Power User on my lifebook. But then one day it crashed never to restart again. Then I sought out a new computer, apparently someone my mother worked with found out and mentioned that they had a very old mac @ home. So i had that. It was one of those old Macintosh Performa 6200 desktops from the early 90's. I liked that computer allot. I never had a problem. It was my first mac. But it did not do allot. I could not do word processing in MS office or anything compatible with office, and I could only print half of the time, but that was the HP printers fault. It had a TV tuner, so I could watch, and record TV, like a tivo. It had a CD-ROM drive, and could play Cd's, the perfect Media Center computer of the day. I had it in my room, but I did not use it all that often. I used my mother's Gateway to do everything because it had windows XP. And the Internet. I used that for a very long time. All the while there was a 500MHZ G3 iMac 15" CRT Blue with 64 megs of RAM in the basement that was becoming harder and harder for kyle and Lauren to do their homework on. So we replaced that a couple months ago with a 17" Intel 1.83GHZ iMac. And I got the G3. I used the Intel Mac allot, and still do, and my mothers Gateway at this point was almost a lost cause. It could not print, and when it did, I did it wrong, it chose when it wanted to go on the Internet, and when it didn't. We saw the BSOD almost every 10 minutes. I told her that I would be able to take it and overhaul everything and make it work reasonably well again but she would loose everything. She didn't want that. So we went to the apple store one day and came home with a 13" 1.83GHZ Intel MacBook with 512MB of RAM. It is slow and not all that powerful, but it was better than her gateway, and was from apple, the most reliable computer manufacture. And all apples have OSX, the most secure operating system that is worth using for everyday computing. So she was set. I had to get everything from the gateway transferred over, so I had to do a lot of rebooting in safe mode, but I finally got all that done, then I put a fresh install of XP Home on the gateway. And now it is my old, very slow to boot, 1.3GHZ 14" screen, 256MB of ram short battery life laptop. But it works, most of the time. And that is good enough for me, at least I will always know that I have a MacBook, and an iMac in the house, wireless, and a museum of ancient computers in my storage room, and a G3 iMac that I have all of my music in and it plays as I sleep @ night. I have ituneson it. Yes, iTunes did exist back then, there just wasn't an iTunes store. So did Quicktime, and there was iMovie, a movie editor. You could plug your digital video camera into one of the 2 firewire ports and edit your movies, add intros, change scene order, and so on. Then you can burn it to a CD, or a DVD if you had the super drive. Which I do not. But yea, it runs OS 10.0.4, which is not what it came with, It came with 9.2.1, and I upgraded to to 10.0.0, the BETA of OSX, and eventually got to 10.0.4. It is still new enough to run Tiger (10.4.9), but that would cost me $129.99. So yea, I got off of school yesterday, and it is spring break, I am not sure what I am going to do, I would like to go to Chicago. I want to see the two story apple store there. I saw Wild Hogs today, and it was a terrible movie. But the trailer looked good. Oh well, I am going to go think about a way to pay for a Toshiba laptop i may get sometime this year. It is expensive, because I can not do anything I would want to do n Vista Basic, and if I upgrade to Vista Premium, I have all this shit pre-installed that slows me down big time so then I have to upgrade the RAM, and that costs quite a bit too. PC is just way too complicated. And by the time I get to what I really need on the PC, I a at the same price as a MacBook, but what I need in a macbook, costs $380 more, and I would just wait till I could get the 15" MacBook Pro then. So as you can see, it is a very good thing that my birthday and Christmas are far away, because I have a shit load of thinking to do. Hopefully I will come to blog more and more often. I know, seven days is pathetic. Sorry, I am lazy. If I am ever going to get a job reviewing things and different technologies, I will have to overcome this laziness I have.

Today, I woke up a lot earlier. But I did not want to. My mother started coming in @ around 10:00AM, and she did so every 15 Minutes. She did this until it was 5 till 11. I then got up, got dressed, brushed my teeth, went downstairs, made an instant breakfast, then I got in the car to go get my necessary shopping in for the week. I went to walmart first. Got an oil change on my Camry. Then got laundry detergent and some other crap. Then we picked up my car and went home. I sat for a while until I went back out this time with my mother to Kohl's because I think that one of my jeans makes me look like a nerd because they are too short. So I bought one pair of Levis 30 x 32 blue jeans. I would have bought more, but I would not use them very long. The summer is coming up and I will need to make sure I get the right size shorts. They must be right below my knees, or I will not wear them. So then I went to walmart, were I got my gum because people at school keep asking for a piece and eventually I might run out and that is not good at all. So I got those, my jeans, then I knew I had forgotten something, so I pulled out my fancy little shopping list that I had made through out the week. And I had gotten the jeans, I had gotten the gum, I had remembered that I wanted to make pizza tonight, and the only thing left was hair gel, So off to the hair cuttery I went. I then purchased this very expensive but at the same time very nice product called Paul Mitchel Round Trip. It is 11.95 a bottle, but that is a small price to par for awesome looking hair. My list was then complete for things I needed to have. So I went home. Then I got in the car with my father who took me to circuit city because I crave a wireless connection on my laptop so badly, and that is what I am going to do everything I can possibly do to get for Easter. And if I am lucky, i will be able to upgrade my laptops ram memory as well. So I looked and a wireless router will cost $49.95, and the 802.11g card for my laptop (because the built in is only 802.11b) will cost $59.95. And my macs have 802.11g wireless already built in and will recognize the wireless LAN automatically. So they will be portable. Not that I feel like lugging my iMac around the house, but the MacBook, maybe, then I will be able to watch TV and blog at the same time. And that would be absolutely great. After we talked to the fire dog guy @ circuit city, I went over to target with my father. We bought milk and checked the prices of wireless routers and PC cards there too. They were $20 more. Wow, that is a surprise. I would expect they be cheaper at target than an electronics retailer. So then I went home, I walked Bo. then I got on my computer and I updated twitter, checked my e-mail, watched a bunch of drunk Irish people on You Tube. Then i watched some TV. After a few minutes my mother said she was going out to look for a shelf t put her books on because they look bad were they are for whatever reason. So I got in the car, turned it on. Listened to the smooth powerful revs of that 3.8, then I gassed it backward pretty hard than slammed on the brakes, and listened to that beautiful screech of tires sliding as you skid. Then I put in in drive and burned out back u the driveway and waited for my mom to come out and take me to Menard's, and some home store. e bought a shelf @ Menard's. Then we came home and I have just been hanging out around the house sense.

Hello. I am going to start another blog and this time try to keep up with it. My motivation for making this blog was that I wanted to put my twitter badge on a blog, everybody is doing it, but I do not have a blog. Well, not i do, but I didn't. So I created Wow, Look @ Me Now. I guess I will just update you on my life. I will be posting things such as: my plans, my day, major events. And Overall major events in my life. Ok, lets cover some of my life for today. Today, I woke up at 2:09 PM. I would have slept longer, but I was waken by my mother. She walked in and told me that if I felt like getting out today, I could go on her errands. So I decided to. Why not. So I got up, got dressed, went down stairs, put a Lean Cuisine Chicken Fettuccine. Then I went upstairs, there I brushed my teeth. Combed my hair, but I did not put any gel in it or wet it first. So it looked sloppy. Then I went downstairs. Were I jumped in my mothers dirty minivan. We went to Meijer. She got fruit. I looked at component cables. They don't have a very big selection of tech. They used to have computers. But now, iPod and the dreaded Microsoft Zune are the most advanced piece of tech. Excluding some of the TVs i guess. So then she called me and said she was going to go through some crowded isles or something and wanted me to push a cart. So I was like what ever. So we walked through some isles, i saw a cute girl, bought zingers, laughed at an old person, you know, the usual. Then on the way home, my mom's sister called. She asked if we could come over to have a little Saint Patrick's day get together. She said yes. Then I asked her if we could get a car wash because our beautiful new car looked dirty. And new cars don't deserve t be dirty. Or be touched by dirty people. She said yea, after I put away these grocery's. So while she was putting away groceries, I took a quick shower and this time I did put jell in my hair. My dad ended up taking me to to car wash. In which I was very tempted to open the windows, so I had to hold my finger back with my other hand. Then I called my mother so she knew that we were coming home and to get the kids ready to get in the car. When we got back, I grabbed my iPod, got back in the car, then we started driving. As we were pulling out, Kyle pointed out that Mackenzie and her mom were talking. It turns out my mom was "rude" to her. But she does nothing but pick fights with all of the children of my neighborhood. Then every time she complains to my mom that it is her kids fault. So that is what she tried to do. She was all, "Mrs Brooks," and my mom is like I am busy, sorry Mackenzie, and she is like "but Mrs brooks" and my mom says i am busy, and she keeps saying but until my mom shuts the door in her face while she is still talking. And Yes, I see how this would be rude, if this were a first time occurrence. But it is not. Mackenzie has let herself into our house when we are not home before just to wait for us to come home. She fights with our family non stop. She dropped our first apple computer on the floor, god knows how she managed to do that. It was under warranty, so we got a new Hard drive but lost everything on it, and she comes over to tattle on my brother for something that more than likely she started and caused entirely. And then turns around to her parents and makes my mom look like the bad guy in this whole predicament. I do not think that her parents are too mad @ my mom though, they know how big of an idiot their daughter is. So I put my headphones in and listened to my awesome songs on the hour long drive to Deerfield.

Some of the songs I listened to are

Ready To Fall
Diary Of Jane
Rooftops
These Things
If Everyone Cared
Into The Ocean
Last Resort
To Be Loved
Animal I have Become
Lips Like Morphine
Hate (I Really Dont Like You)
Face Down

When we were half way there, my sister said she didn't feel good. When we were 2 blocks away, we pulled over and she threw up. It was just car sick though, because when we got there she felt fine. So I walked in the door and the first thing I saw was their new 20" iMac. It was very dirty, they are slobs. But it was fun to play with. I gave him little tutorials on all of its features. I then created a website for him. After that, we just sat and talked and I had a grilled chicken sandwich, one of the better McDonald's foods. We talked about how when me any my cousins are grown and have our own places, they are going to come over and destroy our places, because we are so destructive to their homes. I am not that way, but it is very true, that their kids are quite destructive. When they first bought the house, they had had it a week and my sister and their daughter spilled glitter glue all over the carpet. It is there to this day. So that lasted a little while. Then we went home. I got on the computer, started my computer use for the day. Played around with Twitter. Read blogs, and made this. Now I am going to try to figure out how to add a Twitter badge to this blog.

ttyl,

-Ryan
